What is nuisance wildlife control?
Nuisance wildlife in Colorado is defined as a wild animal that is causing damage to property, and is considered a nuisance by the landowner. Exceptions include mountain lion, bear, moose, deer, elk, and other game animals. Trapping and wildlife exclusion are acceptable forms of nuisance wildlife control in Colorado. Examples of nuisance wildlife include bobcats, foxes, coyotes, squirrels, beavers, turtles, snakes, crayfish, porcupines, skunks, raccoons, rabbits, bats, and birds. Raccoons damaging your attic, skunks under your porch, and coyotes in your pasture, are all examples of nuisance wildlife. We respond quickly to wildlife emergencies.
Colorado only allows live traps (cargo or box traps). Exceptions to this rule are mice and rat traps, and certain agricultural wildlife problems. Our selection of traps can handle any nuisance wildlife problem, from large animals such as coyotes, to small squirrels. Our technicians select traps for your specific wildlife problem. Once the animal is caught, we follow all state laws in the relocation or disposal of the animal. For Vail and Aspen Colorado wildlife removal, give RAM Pest a call!
Dead Animal Removal
Dead animals carry insects and disease. Do not handle the carcass of a dead animal. Our professionals are trained to properly dispose of dead animals. The pelts of some animals, including mountain lion and bear, are controlled by the state of Colorado. We comply with state laws in the disposal of all animal carcasses.
